What Does It Mean For You?

Saturday, October 30 at 10 AM

What is health literacy, and how does it impact you and your family? What are the causes and consequences of childhood obesity? What do parents and educators need to know about lead poisoning prevention? Three panels of experts join host Diane Lucas to explore these and other health related issues on this Education Forum.

Panel one addresses health literacy issues, panel two explores the state of childhood obesity in North Carolina and panel three provides essential steps to preventing lead poisoning prevention and the importance of screening children before the age of two.
