		Sesame Street's 42nd Season What's the word on the street? This year Sesame Street starts their 42nd Season!

		Get Up and Move with Sid The Science Kid Tune in to UNC-TV on February 9th, 2012 for a repeat of the new "Get Up and Move" episode from Sid the Science Kid, featuring spotlights on exercise and healthy eating. Continue Sid's message of exercise and healthy eating habits with online activities and games. Check out Sid's Mix it Up online game and have children practice making balanced and healthy choices for their meals. Continue the game offline with an at home activity on understanding food groups, especially the healthy ones!

		2012 National STEM Video Challenge Thursday February 9 at 12:00 AM A Contest you Don't Want to Miss! The National STEM Video Challenge is a contest that is open to four different categories: Middle School students (5th grade – 8th grade), High School Students, College students and Teachers/Educators. Participants who wish to produce games as part of the PBS KIDS stream are encouraged to develop games for children ages 4-8 that focus on early math skills. Visit the website to learn about the great prizes. Entries close March 12, 2012. So, enter now! This project is part of the Ready To Learn Initiative, and funded by a grant from the U.S Department of Education.
