Science for Kids using PEEP and The Big Wide World Peep and the Big Wide World is a terrific bilingual program and website that has a variety of resources such as books, simple activities and video that encourage science. Watch a short video narrated by Joan Cusack reminding you that there are opportunities in everyday life to encourage your childs' natural curiosity and help them develop science and math skills. Peep and the Big Wide World airs on UNC-KD on Saturday and Sundays. Click the "What's On" section of UNC-TV's website to view the broadcast schedule for PEEP and other children programs. Make sure you select UNC-KD from the select channel menu, type in Peep and the Big Wide World and select 30 days.

SESAME STREET - Fourth Quarter 2011 VIEW & DOS
Sesame Street View and Do Resources for Teachers and Parents In an effort to help children build friendship skills, understand emotions, develop empathy and learn about bullying, Sesame Street has created a resource for teachers and families. Other concepts that are introduced are: Letter "Y," the number "9," and new vocabulary words. It’s called the 2011 View and Do.
