It’s Back to Cool, with a Fresh Lineup of Programs Just For Kids! This fall, UNC-TV proudly presents two all-new children’s series. First, a longtime favorite of kids (and the grown-ups who read to them) comes to life—Martha Speaks! Join the laid back, rather rotund clever canine creation of author/illustrator Susan Meddaugh for entertaining escapades, weekday mornings at 7:30. Sid the Science Kid also joins UNC-TV’s trusted daytime lineup with winsome answers to the preschool set’s favorite question: WHY? Developed by the Jim Henson Company, Sid the Science Kid is unlike any other kids’ show on television because it is the first to use digital puppetry—with real-time manipulation of the animated characters by the puppeteers. So, seize scientific concepts in a fun-for-all way, with Sid the Science Kid, weekday mornings at 8:30. Be sure to tune in to UNC-KD for safe and smart shows for kids all the time!
