| Web Content Developer Internship, Marketing and Communications Division Preferred Major Journalism, Mass Communications Requirements Basic knowledge of journalistic writing, principles of public relations, techniques of content development for web sites and social media Project Objective To promote viewership of UNC-TV programs, participation in UNC-TV events and support for UNC-TV as an institution. Project Supervisor Director of Marketing and Communications (Steve Volstad) Major Tasks Developing content for the UNC-TV web site and social media sites, including writing and editing copy, page design, and creating video content for posting online. May also prepare articles for publications and assist with special events and projects as needed.
