On Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at 8 PM, UNC-TV honors North Carolina's "Greatest Generation" with the premiere of the two-hour documentary event, NORTH CAROLINA's WWII EXPERIENCE. Through a remarkable array of revealing personal accounts from local veterans and civilians, this UNC-TV original production stands as a moving testament to those North Carolinians who served and sacrificed during the Second World War.

NORTH CAROLINA'S WORLD WAR II EXPERIENCE, premiering Tuesday, December 7, at 8 PM, is an original documentary from UNC-TV exploring the important role North Carolina and its citizens played in the second World War. In Act 15 (of 20), entitled "Love and Marriage," the documentary examines, as the war raged on, couples' growing quandary: should they get married or wait until the war was over?
