UNC-TV’s Digital Channels
You've always enjoyed PBS programs and with digital television you'll have access to even more quality programs. UNC-TV's digital channels also offer color and clarity like you've never seen before.

While the congressionally-mandated switch to digital television is set for February 17th, 2009, UNC-TV has already undertaken the ambitious digital conversion to provide a more robust television service than anyone could have imagined years ago. And it's available now.

Best of all, UNC-TV's digital channels are free over-the-air without a monthly subscription fee to cable or satellite. With a digital television or set-top converter box and your antenna, you can watch our three UNC-TV channels. If you combine a converter box with a high definition TV set, you can view UNC-TV's HD programming in spectacular high definition.
