GET READY...
As you may have heard, Congress has mandated significant changes for the entire television broadcasting industry. By law, all American television stations must complete their digital transition and turn-off their analog signal by February 17, 2009. On that day, free over-the-air television (the way many of you now receive your TV signal) goes digital. With digital television (or DTV) you will notice crystal clear picture and sound–and receive additional free broadcast TV channels, including UNC-TV’s digital channels. UNC-TV's New Digital Channel Lineup UNC-TV is here to help with the analog shutoff.
UNC-TV is committed to helping you make the switch from analog to digital as painless as possible. Many of your questions will be answered here. If you have additional questions, please contact UNC-TV's Viewer Services at 1-888-292-7070 or viewer@unctv.org. Find answers to common questions now - visit our Frequently Asked Questions page!
