UNC-TV is not just a single television station, but a statewide public television network that covers all of North Carolina, as well as areas in Virginia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. UNC-TV currently broadcasts three full-time digital program channels: UNC-KD (a children's service for preschoolers and young school-age children); UNC-EX (a service featuring the best in travel, culture, science, nature, history, and outdoor adventure programming); and UNC-TV (our public television service in high definition). An additional service--UNC-MX--is offered as a cable-only program service, providing an eclectic mix of programs from drama to comedy to public affairs. The program schedule and supplemental information for all of these services can be found on this Web site. UNC-TV is one of the most prolific producers of original programming in all of public television, broadcasting nearly 370 hours of programs about North Carolina people, places, activities, and issues last year.

Our Web site provides important and useful information about our services to children, as well as our educational services; ways you can become a member, contact us, or submit a program idea; upcoming events; and links to other interesting Web sites.  You can also sign up for our free UNC-TV e-Guide, which will be e-mailed to you twice a month.
