Vicki Payne has taught more people to work with glass than any other person in the world. Each week, for over 15 years, thousands of glass enthusiasts have tuned in to watch her popular national television show, Glass with Vicki Payne . The show is available on PBS, Good Life TV, and FamilyNet cable stations.

Vicki is a frequent and popular guest on a number of HGTV and The Discovery Channel programs as well as various other home improvement and crafting shows. She and Sloan currently host the Handmade Gifts show on the DIY Network. She has also been a frequent guest on QVC, where she markets her own brand of glass related crafting products manufactured and distributed by Plaid Enterprises.
In addition to her work in television, Vicki is an accomplished writer, speaker, and educator. She has authored and published many glass crafting books and has just completed a new hardback book with Sterling Publications. Vicki is an admired and motivating speaker, encouraging her audiences with her "you- can-do-it" attitude. Vicki created and directs her own annual consumer glass show, the Glass Extravaganza.
Vicki has managed to make herself synonymous with the how-to industry. Her ideas on development and marketing are well regarded and shared throughout the craft and hobby industries. Sloan Payne-Rutter has hosted the nationally syndicated PBS television series, Paint! Paint! Paint! since 2000. This magazine formatted show demonstrates the you-can-do-it creative painting projects for novices and advanced artists and home decorators. Whether you want to learn to paint beautiful landscapes, decorate your furniture, stencil a design, sketch a portrait of your child or decorate your walls with murals and faux finishes, Sloan and her guests have the answers to your painting questions.
With her mother, Vicki Payne, she co-hosts another PBS series, For Your Home and Handmade Gifts Workshop on HGTV's DIY network. Sloan is a frequent guest on HGTV and The Discovery Channel.
Her love of painting is apparent through the energy and enthusiasm she puts into every show. Sloan's experiences as the mother of a young child and a new homeowner have inspired several special Paint! Paint! Paint! segments as well as becoming the author of her new book, Paint Paint Paint.
An experienced craft instructor and lecturer, she has appeared at the Glass Extravaganza, The Southern Women's Show Tour, National Hardware Show, and the North Carolina Furnishings Festival.
