The UNC-TV Kids Club is designed to provide children with materials and opportunities that add to their enjoyment of UNC-TV’s children’s programming and extend the educational value beyond the television screen. All Kids Club parents and children receive quarterly packets of PBS-themed activity sheets and invitations to two Kids Club events each year. The Birthday and Read-a-Roo Friends Levels add additional exciting benefits.


Club Level

With your tax-deductible contribution of $60 or only $5 a month new members receive:

• A Kids Club Welcome Kit featuring a dry erase planner, Read-a-roo’s Happy Healthy Activity Book, stickers, a picture frame magnet, and an eraser.
• Quarterly PBS Kids-themed activity packets for both kids and parents
• Invitations to exclusive Kids Club events
• Kids Club eNews updates

Birthday Level

With your tax-deductible contribution of $90 or only $7.50 a month you receive all of the Club Level benefits, plus:

• Birthday recognition on UNC-TV and our website plus a birthday card from Read-a-roo for each child
• Choice of a Kids Club gift item (hat, lunch tote or T-shirt) for each child

Read-a-roo Friends Level 

With your tax-deductible contribution of $120 or only $10 a month you receive all of the Club and Birthday Level benefits, plus:

• A VIP invitation to Read-a-roo’s exclusive annual BIG Birthday Bash
• A Kids Club Benefits Card that entitles your family to discounts at family attractions across North Carolina
