EL ENCUENTRO (THE ENCOUNTER)
In this episode, "El Encuentro," the program format begins to become m ore regular. While most of the dialogue is in conversational Spanish, Raquel and the Spanish narrator review the actions and discussions tha t have taken place in a more direct, easy to understand Spanish. At th is point in the series, the English narrator only occasionally provide s background on the story plot or history of a region. This episode ex plains some of the differences between Sevilla and Madrid and continue s to make regular use of Spanish past tense verbs. The conversational Spanish is much more rapid and natural. Raquel finally meets with Sra. Suarez and learns that Rosario survived the bombing, gave birth to Fe rnando's son, Angel, while living in Sevilla, and moved to Argentina w here she remarried a man named Martin Iglesias.
