Long Description:
Windfall Lighting - We profile this company that is based in Munich and specializes in making custom-made chandeliers from genuine glass crystal. The results are often quite spectacular. It's all hand-made, too, and the quality is world renowned. Discovering Oulu, Finland - The region around Oulu is known for its beautiful forests and lakes, and the city itself is situated at the mouth of the Oulujoki River. Two hundred years ago Oulu was a major trading center of wood tar to the rest of northern Europe. Today the region draws visitors in search of tranquility and beautiful scenery. But that still doesn't rule out dancing tango at a forest club. Designer Fausto Puglisi - Fausto Puglisi is a promising new Italian designer. The Sicilian was tasked with reviving the fashion house of Ungaro back in 2012 but he also has his own label. His big break was when one very particular girl with a sharp eye for material, Madonna discovered his talents. Since then Puglisi has dressed Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, and Beyonce. We caught up with him at Milan Fashion Week! German Photographer Thomas Hoepker - He's one of Germany's most renowned documentary photographers. The former President of Magnum Photos travelled the world with his camera and documented many historical events. He photographed during the Cold War, and was present on 9/11. Now he's received the Leica Hall of Fame Award and is being honored with a Retrospective at the Photokina Imaging Fair in Cologne. Hercule Poirot is Back - Agatha Christie wrote many novels including world famous titles like "And Then there Were None", and "Death On the Nile." Her most famous investigator is Hercule Poirot who first appeared in 1920. Despite his author having killed him off in 1975, Christie's family is now allowing him to rise again. The new book is called "The Monogram Murders" written by Sophie Hannah.
