Ghana: E-Books For Schools - Even though elementary education is free in Ghana, there's shortage of school textbooks. In 2010, a non-profit charity called Worldreader began supplying schools with e-readers. The organization is partnered with a number of publishers who provide free content. Namibia: Climate Kick - Loving Football, Loving the Planet - Global United FC is a charity that campaigns for issues such as climate protection. Soccer stars Lutz Pfannenstiel and Fredi Bobic are among the faces of the project 'Climate Kick', which organizes frequent events in Namibia. Among the football charity's sponsors are some major Namibian companies. The non-profit organization Global United FC aims to convey an environmental message to the public at large and various schools in particular with its "Waste not Want not" educational campaign.
