UNC-TV Announces Two New Trustee Members
Greuling & Loftin Join UNC-TV Board of Trustees

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK—Two new gubernatorial appointments—Megan Greuling, of Charlotte, and Adam Loftin, of Raleigh—were recently appointed to serve on UNC-TV’s Board of Trustees. The terms will run through May 31, 2020.

Ms. Greuling, who succeeds Dr. Charles A. Sanders of Durham on the board, is the director of public relations and corporate communications for LendingTree, a publicly traded company headquartered in Charlotte. Ms. Greuling, with LendingTree for the last seven years, currently oversees the company’s external communications on a national level, managing media relations, press releases, corporate messaging, and national TV appearances, as well as the production and distribution of the company’s consumer data and research. She earned a bachelor of science degree in marketing and management, with a public relations and advertising specialty, from the University of South Carolina.

Mr. Loftin, who will occupy the seat held by Ashley Thrift of Winston-Salem, was born, raised, and now resides in Raleigh. He is the owner and general manager of Eagle Rock Concrete Company, a ready-mixed concrete production company he started with his father Jay, a veteran of the concrete business. A 2004 graduate of Duke University, the younger Mr. Loftin was captain of the school’s varsity baseball team. In 2010 he received his masters of business administration from North Carolina State University. He is a board member of the Miracle League of the Triangle, a nonprofit organization that helps children with special needs experience joy and community through the sport of baseball.

Brian Sickora, executive director and general manager of UNC-TV, welcomed Ms. Greuling and Mr. Loftin to UNC-TV’s board, saying, “I am confident that these two appointees will bring fresh energy and ideas to our Board of Trustees. With their record of business and entrepreneurial success, we anticipate many productive contributions to enhance UNC-TV’s unique mission of service and that of the University of North Carolina, as well.”
