U.S. Senator Richard Burr was the keynote speaker at the most recent annual Economic Forecast Forum sponsored by the North Carolina Bankers Association and N.C. Citizens for Business and Industry in Durham, NC. Other speakers at the forum include Ken Thompson, president and CEO of Wachovia Corp., N.C. State Treasurer Richard Moore, and NCBA economist Harry Davis. The Forum included a presentation of a new study showing the impact of the burgeoning Hispanic population on North Carolina, as conducted by the Kenan Institute on Private Enterprise.
