When chronic and terminal illnesses strike an individual,
how do they and their families cope? Are there community support
services available to them? What is the emotional impact on families?
UNC-TV's Education Forum, hosted by Diane Lucas, Director of Programming
and Outreach, will look at the impact and avenues on how to deal
with severe illness, in order to better understand what services
and processes are in place for individuals and their families to
cope.

If you are a NASCAR fan (and even if you are not) you may have seen the articles being run for the last two NASCAR seasons featuring Bobby Labonte and others talking about the "Victory Junction Gang Camp" for kids with particular medical conditions. The Camp is opening this season in Randleman, NC (just south of Greensboro near the Petty Family complex). The camp is completely FREE. Each week the camp will focus on kids with a specific conditions (see below).
