Along with our continuing work in telecourses for college credit and adult basic skills, a major emphasis this academic year has been on the project made possible by an NCO grant, Latino Health and Workplace Safety, which began in September, 2006 and will conclude May, 2007.
The project has showcased the partnerships with local schools, colleges, literacy and reading councils, along with public health and safety providing agencies on how to access health, fitness and safety information.
