General Educational Development (GED)
GED Connection brings the subject matter alive through tours of historical sites, documentary footage, interviews with poets and scientists, and demonstrations of real-life applications. The workbooks and web-based activities further engage learners with models, applications, and test-taking practice.
Online Lessons
All online lessons are FREE for learners. Register through UNC-TV on LiteracyLink's Web site and then log in anytime for activities tied to competencies taught in the videos and workbooks. Sample activities include developing a career interest inventory and generating a resume online. The lessons are designed to be informative and helpful even for those not formally participating in a GED Connection class.
*Workshops are adapted to audience needs in each of the areas listed above for distance learning administrators and faculties as well as students and community based organizations.
