Read With A Ranger and Meet and Greet Literacy Pals
Meet and Greet Literacy Pals: PBS Curious George and UNC-TV's Read-a-roo will be meeting and greeting children from 10:00am-10:30am and 11:00am -11:30am.

Agenda: Read With a Ranger is a program that promotes environmental education through literacy. Children can exchange books and take a guided nature hike with a ranger at this event. Later that day children can go fishing and learn about aquatic wildlife. There will be a book exchange at the W. Kerr Scott Environmental Education Center from 10:00-12:00. Bring an old book to exchange for a different one. A hot dog lunch will be provided from 12:00 pm -1:00 pm. From 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, participate in "Take A Kid Fishing" day. All the activities are Sponsored by Friends of W. Kerr Scott Lake and UNC-TV. Please call (336) 921-3390 to register for this free event.
