Welcome to this training of It’s a Big, Big World safari for learning.  My name is Pamela Hines, and I am the preK-12 manager at UNC-TV and the PBS Kids Ready to Learn coordinator.  I am so excited that you’ve joined us by participating in this online workshop.  The activities have been prepared for a one hour presentation, although you could sign up and attend a three hour It’s a Big, Big World workshop and receive three hours of contact hour credits, which will be approved by the Division of Child Development, the Department of Human Services.  Grab your safari hat, join the teachers from Learning Together Incorporated, and let’s get started.
