The teachers continue to talk about that magnificent foam and other uses of the foam. Some of the responses might be: the foam can be used for art projects, to make place mats, face masks, even make animals, wildlife in the jungle, make collages or even birthday cards. The teachers also display their handprints, telling what they created. Join the teachers as they talk about that foam.

Use it to decorate.

You could use it for art.

Uh-huh, you could use it for art.

Um, a face mask.

A face mask. What things would you use it with?

Things, um, animals.

Oh, yes.

Yes, definitely. So, these are some activities that you can do later on with the children to talk about It’s a Big, Big World program. And so, while you’re cutting, we’ve had—or while—when you were coming, we had the “Big, Big World” episodes playing. You got on your table, you each have a “Big, Big World” episode and DVD that you can use in your classroom. Okay. So, keep on cutting. Now, when you finish with that, if you want to hold on to your print, you can; you don’t have to throw it away. Let me see what you are making ____. Okay. Good, good.
