Candidate Biography (submitted by campaign):

I am a semi-retired husband and father. I reside in Central Granville County, where I nurture two hobbies (passions): I am building a small machine shop and developing a small organic farm.  I have been a lifelong student of the economy.  I am at www.hafner2008.com.

Alarmed at the loss of our productive capacity and the tumbling dollar, I have developed much of my campaign around the premise that monetary policy is a constitutional responsibility of the U.S. House of Representatives.  By correctly monetizing our produced wealth we can rebuild and/or return our productive capacity to the domestic United States.
