| Candidate Statement:
My name is Johnny J. Carter and I want to be your next Congressman in the United States House of Representatives for the 6th District of North Carolina.
The reasons in part for this campaign are:
You have not had an increase in your paycheck purchasing power in over 10 years.
It takes the average wage earner form January 1 to May 12 to just pay their tax bill.
Those that have it for themselves are voting down national healthcare for you and your family.
The Iraq war continues when 90% of Americans want it stopped. Why?
We are told we have an illegal immigration issue crossing over from Mexico, but our enemies have come from other countries. What we have is a National Security issue.
The present elected representatives have voted to allow the loss of over 3 million American jobs with many more to go.
Washington has stolen the ability to retire for many Americans.
Over 2 million Americans and their children will be thrown into the streets this year due to foreclosures.
This Administration has increased the National Debt to more than all previous administrations combined. The debt is presently over 9 trillion dollars ($9,141,642,755,205.23).
Nearly 4 million Americans are homeless.
Do I as a candidate have solutions to these challenges we face? Yes I do, for these and many others.
