| Candidate Statement:
For almost a year and a half, I have had the great pleasure of serving the citizens of Alexander County as Clerk of Superior Court. The previous 23 years, I worked as an Assistant and Deputy Clerk for now retired Clerk of Court Seth W. Chapman. During that time, I attended many training conferences sponsored by the Administrative Office of the Courts and the North Carolina Institute of Government held throughout the State of North Carolina. This total of over 24 years experience has let me obtain the knowledge and training needed in order to give you the best possible service. Whether it is to help look up court records both current and old, assist with the estate of a lost loved one, answer questions about adoptions or incompetency and guardianships, explain how traffic court works or to talk about jury service, I am prepared and ready to help. Please allow me to continue to serve you, all the citizens of Alexander County. For me, it is more about PUBLIC SERVICE than politics. I ASK FOR YOUR VOTE ON NOVEMBER 2ND.
