Candidate Statement:

Ashe County has an excellent school system. I am honored to have taught and worked in the system for 26 years.  My love for my profession and the joy and personal fulfillment it as brought me in helping young minds excel motivates me to continue to be involved in educational issues after my retirement. I desire to dedicate my time and efforts to helping the staff, students, and teachers achieve at every academic and personal level. I desire to do this by serving on the Ashe County Board of Education.
