I want to help prepare students, in Buncombe County, for the 21st Century work force, by making sure we hire and retain the best teachers and administrators.  As we face the current budget crisis, I want ensure that we keep as many teaching position as possible and keep the class sizes small.  If we work closely and amicably with our local, state and federal politicians, we can make it through this budget crisis.
