Candidate Biography (submitted by candidate):

I grew up in Law Enforcement. Grandfather (FBI) Dad (57 years) Brother (32 years Charlotte) (myself 25 + years). Over 6,000 classroom hours; CMA in Local Government and Police Management; Training Sergeant and Lieutenant and Watch Commander. Many outstanding job performance evaluations. Police officer of the year and best dressed in the US. Involved in community in many directed patrols.

Candidate Statement:

(I am a Constitutionalist and Oath Keeper)  I am running for sheriff because:

1: like you, I believe in "law enforcement that works for people," not special interest. While the rest of us are tightening our belts in these tough economic times; the sheriff's dept keeps increasing the budget at millions of dollars and we will have to bail them out ... the tax payers. I will balance the budget and be responsible with your tax dollars.

2: Many of us have seen what has been going on in Arizona over illegal immigration. But right here in Buncombe County, we have a serious problem with illegal immigration and the current sheriff's administration doesn't have in Buncombe the 2879 program that is wrong! I will enforce the immigration laws, and protect the citizens of the country. That is "law enforcement that works for the people."

3: Even though sheriff is an elected office, we all believe that it should not be political. The best people should be promoted to best serve you ... citizens of Buncombe County. Dirty politics has seeped in, and the public is being jeopardized for political gain. I will end the political game and enforce the law with the best people for the job ... period.
