Candidate Biography (submitted by candidate):
Jen Campbell was born in Rowan County. A graduate of A.L. Brown High School, she graduated cum laude and was also a North Carolina scholar. Jen is currently obtaining her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in the evening program at Catawba College, located in Salisbury, North Carolina.
Jen has always believed in hard work and self - reliance. She established herself with Food Lion as an Assistant Customer Service Manager before leaving to work with the State of North Carolina, where she continues to serve today. Jen has worked as a Deputy Clerk for Cabarrus County from 2005 - 2008. Jen is currently the Judicial Assistant for the District Court Judges' Office in Rowan County.
Jen believes in giving back to the community. Whether it's litter pickup, Special Olympics, Toys for Tots, Salvation Army, Assisted Living Volunteer, Crisis Pregnancy Center, Wings of Eagles Ranch, or Concord Christian Church outreach, Jen has a gift for service to others. Jen enjoys reading, playing chess, gardening, hiking, fishing, bike riding, traveling, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. Jen is a member of Concord Christian Church in Concord. Jen currently resides in Concord, North Carolina.

I would be honored to serve on the Soil and Water Conservation board. I would devote my time and energy through to the promotion of educational programs on soil and water conservation.
