Candidate Biography (submitted by candidate):

I am a native of Cleveland County married to the former Joanne Morgan we have four children, eight grandchildren & two great-grand children. We are residents of Kinds Mountain & are members of First Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. I have been a member of Gideons International for 21 years. A former member of both, KM & Boiling Springs Rotary Clubs. A graduate of Boiling Springs High School, attended North Carolina State College and graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, GA. 

I served 12 yrs with the Shelby Rescue Squad as an EMT and have served Cleveland County for the past 34 years as a Funeral Director & Embalmer, and for the last twelve years as Assistant Coroner, Coroner & Medical Examiner.

I would like to say THANK YOU for your support in 2006 and ask for your vote again May 4, 2010.  I would like to thank ALL law enforcement in the county, EMS, Rescue Squads, Fire Departments, Doctors, Nurses, Hospital and Nursing homes and Chaplains at the different facilities throughout the county for a job well done and for your cooperation & assistance over the years.  If Re-Elected the residents of Cleveland County will be served professionally and compassionately to the best of my ability to one and all alike.
