Candidate Statement:

EXPERIENCE YOU CAN TRUST:
The roll of a commissioner is to represent the people and the county, always with integrity.  They must make themselves available to the public at all times, stay current on all issues and most important, know and deal with the true facts surrounding any situation.

I have never made a decision of any kind without first thinking about the impact it would have on our people.  There are hardly any decisions you make that will not have an effect on someone's life.

Over the last 15 years with the County, I have been constantly involved in solving all kinds of problems.  Being retired I have the time to evaluate and review every issue I must vote on.  I never make a decision that I know is going to be controversial or have some far reaching effect without a lot of thought.

I have a full understanding of all levels of County and State Government and the workings there-in.  I am well versed and very much aware of all the situations in the County today.  I have a good working relationship with our Federal, State and Local Officials.

I can only say that if the people of Currituck re-elect me on November 2nd, I will continue to serve them with the integrity and decency I have tried to display over the last 16 years. Your vote and continued support on November 2nd will be greatly appreciated.
