Candidate Biography (submitted by campaign):

I have lived in Eastern North Carolina for the past nine years.  I graduated from Manteo High School in 2003 and then went on to attend East Carolina University where I earned my bachelor degree in political science in 2007.

My interest in politics began when I was a child.  That childhood interest of mine inspired me to want to serve my community.

The reason I am running to be your congressman is because I realize that hard times are upon the people of Eastern North Carolina and the time to take action is now.  For far too long the Democrats and Republicans have taken your hard earned money through taxation but have done little with that money to benefit Eastern North Carolina.  As your congressman, I will get the government out of your way so you can prosper.
