Ronnie "Geno" Kennedy, Jr. announces his intent to run for the District III Duplin County Commissioner seat on the Democratic ticket in the 2010 election.

Geno stated, "Unlike many well educated young men reared in Duplin County who chose to move away, I am here to stay and to make a difference."

Geno is an accomplished candidate whose qualifications include graduating from East Carolina University in 1993 with a degree in Regional and Urban Planning and Geology; launching a waste management consulting firm, Agriment Services, Inc, in 1994, which provides a variety of services to agricultural clients across NC and several other states; and also starting Agriment Realty in 2003 which focuses on agricultural land development and production farm sales.

Candidate Statement:

Dear Friends and Supporters,

It is a real honor to attempt to serve the citizens of District III and all of Duplin County! More than at any other time in history, Duplin County has an opportunity to be on the move and prospering. I truly believe we in District III can make a difference and I hope we all can share in this excitement as we move forward.

I invite all of you to keep coming back to my website as it enables me to communicate more effectively with you on current issues in the County, take questions, provide new photos/videos from my public involvement, and much more!

As always, I truly appreciate your support.

All My Best,
Geno
