I believe:

• That the gas tax should be lowered to be on par with other states, 10 to 15 cents a gallon means alot to working people!
• That we spend too much money on convicts ($38,000.00 a year) and not enough on our children's education ($3,4000.00 a year)!
• That our elected officials should be limited to no more than 2 terms in any one office. (Make room for new ideas)
• That property taxes should be abolished and a sales tax increase enacted so that the tax burden is carried by everyone in N.C. not just property owners!
• That people who need help should get help and those that abuse the system should be cut off!

I believe it's time for common sense, it's time for a positive change, it's time for Ken Chandler for N.C. Senate.
