I have been a resident of Gatesville for 31 years. I am the owner of Owens Financial, and investment and insurance firm located in Gatesville. I serve as a financial advisor to the citizens of Gates County and surrounding counties. I have been in the investment and insurance business for over 26 years. My wife, Denise, and I are the proud parents of two grown sons, Adam and Ashley and our daughter, Allyson. We are also the proud grandparents of Emma; Adam and his wife, Lynn's daughter. Our family attends Faith Outreach Community Church in Gatesville, where I serve as Elder. I am a member of the Gatesville Ruritan Club and currently serve as Chairman of the Gates County Chamber of Commerce.

To the citizens of Gates County, I pledge my service. In the May Primary Election, you voted and made me your candidate for the 2010 General Election. Thank you for your vote of confidence and support. It is an honor to earn your vote again in the General Election on November 2nd. It is our patriotic duty to vote, but also to vote responsibly. I have proven through my work and community service that I value this county. My activities in Gates County for 31 years include working with Youth Programs, Civic Groups, Churches, Fire Department, Schools, Chamber of Commerce, various County Committees and many other events. In these activities, I have served as Leader, President, Treasurer, Organizer, Director, Chairman, Elder, Deacon, Advisor, Coach and Friend.

As you cast your vote on November 2nd, what will you really be voting for? I pledge to you that if you cast your vote for Jack Owens, you will be voting for someone who really cares about the future of Gates County and the people of Gates County. You will be voting for someone with a vision for this county that believes there is no limit to what we can do together. I am asking for more than just your vote.
