Candidate Biography (submitted by candidate):

My name is Jerry Antonio Lewis. I'm 41 years old, born Feb. 1969 in Oxford, NC, which is in Granville County. Traveled a lot during my youth and attended (3) elementary schools in Granville County, then graduated from JF Webb High School in Oxford, in 1987. I've always been in the public "eye", when it comes to work, and my work back-ground consist mostly in the automotive and construction fields.

I presently do not have any law-enforcement backgrounds. During school, I was contemplating being a police officer and a lawyer, but the more I studied the possibilities, the more I became discouraged by looking at our legal system. During my lifetime, I've traveled to about two-thirds of the United States, been in a world famous magazine, and have been a speaker in several different churches on and off, since the year 1999. I've divorced, married only once, and have always sought the answers to making peoples' lives easier and more efficient.

Candidate Statement:

People cry for help, all the time, but is seems to go unanswered. I've been there myself, and I'm tired of seeing good people getting done wrong while criminals just get away! Our system is broken! From dirty law enforcement officers, to lawyers and judges! I want your help, to put an end to all that.

Drug-dealers should be arrested today, not 20 years later! Law officials involved with drugs, should not exist! Gangs, in our schools, should never have been able to have gotten started! Just like you, I want "Justice"! I don't want to be followed around by officers or harassed by them or criminals, just because I turned someone in, or tried to! Good people fearing the "law", is not how "God", or our fore-fathers, planned it! We need to push the "stop button," and show our citizens, and our criminals, that we have had enough!

I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, and I can’t be bought! When you go to the voting booths, shade-in that circle, and write-in my name, Jerry Lewis, it means that you are taking a stand for justice and that things are about to make a real change! It's time to stop playing with crime, because crime is playing with "us"! I don't think it's "right", when I turn-in a man exposing himself to kids in the library, and police let him go, nor deputies catching people trying to steal cars, and letting them go, as well! The "Power of Law", resides in "The Peoples", hands! It's time we stood-up and not whisper to our neighbors about what we heard or saw!

My campaign is called "Kickin & Screamin", because it's gonna take a lot of that, to get us back, to where we need to be! Thank you
