Candidate Biography (submitted by campaign):

Keith Shearon is a native born Franklin County citizen.  Keith was raised in Louisburg, North Carolina.  After military service in the U.S. Air Force he entered the electronics industry using skills learned as an USAF electronics technician.  Keith has continued to work in large and medium sized technology businesses in the Raleigh Area for the past 28 years culminating in his service as Director of Quality Control and Reliability for ASC Signal Corporation.  
 
Keith currently operates his own small business as a consultant to clients on process improvement, product development, marketing and photography.
 
Keith has been married for 31 years to his wife Liz.  They reside in Youngsville, North Carolina and attend Faith Baptist Church where they teach Sunday School together.  Keith and Liz have worked in domestic and foreign missions through their church.
 
Keith served for nine years as Youngsville Town Commissioner and currently attends N.C. State University studying Industrial Design.  Liz Shearon is a former member of the Franklin County School Board where she served one year as chairman.  Keith’s father is Louisburg Town Councilman Joe Shearon.
