Retired with over 32 years of federal service at the Fleet Readiness Center-East at Cherry Point NC

I am running for county commissioner because ...

• Of my overwhelming desire to make a difference in our community.
• To provide essential services to our citizens, and the demand for a fresh approach to the issues that face us now and in the future.
• Now is the time to make sure that we are working to improve the quality of life in all areas of our county.
• I will take very seriously the duty of the board of commissioner to be stewards of the taxpayer's dollars.

I will work hard to:

• Manage public business in a responsible and efficient manner.
• Preserve and enhance public assets.
• Ensure a safe and healthy community.
• Create continuous improvement by means of pro-active exchange of ideas within the organization and with our citizens.

I am retired and I have the time to do the job.

It will be a honor to represent the citizens of Jones County as a County Commissioner.

I am excited about the opportunity to serve our county at a time when strong leadership and integrity is needed in the community. I want to bring new meaning and add some new directions to Jones County. I will support cost effective solutions for improving safety in our county. Together with fellow commissioners, we can define "Standards of Excellence" for all the employees and departments within our county government. I will reach out to the community leaders for input in strategic planning. Working together we can grow.

Greater Things are yet to come to Jones County.
