Candidate Biography (submitted by candidate):

I have over 28 years of legal experience.  I worked as a paralegal in 3 different law firms prior to being employed by the State of NC as a Trial Court Coordinator for the District Court Judges Office in Lenoir County where I have been employed for the last 12 years.  In my present position, I have daily interactions with the Clerk of Court's office.  In my present position I have daily interactions with the Clerk of Court's office.  In a previous position as an office manager for a law firm I will bring management and accounting experience as well as organizational skills to this office.  I have experience in criminal, civil, juvenile and estates. 

I will serve all citizens of Lenoir County and the employees of the Clerk of Court's office with respect, honesty and fairness.  I will treat everyone with dignity.  I am committed to provide confident and professional service to our judicial system and the citizens of Lenoir County.  I will improve the level of service that the public receives from the clerk's office.
