  • Support strong citizen involvement in the development of UDO & APFP
  • Created Hwy. 16 Vision Cmte. to define how old Hwy. 16 might look in 20 years
  • Budget/Finance/Taxes
  • Opposed growing use of fund balance (savings account) to balance operating budget
  • Oversaw improvement in fund balance to a more fiscal level (15%)
  • Supported transfer of sewer system to county managed
  • Reduced sewer tax from 11.0¢ to less than 2.0¢ over 4 years

  • Create vision process for Hwy. 73 & Hwy. 150
  • Continue to support Lincoln Economic Development Assn.'s (LEDA) focus on broadening the economic base countywide
  • Explore options for incentives to spur commercial development
  • Budget/Finance/Taxes
  • Reduce water/sewer capacity development fees to spur development
  • Examine water/sewer user fees to insure lowest feasible cost to customers
  • Insure the property tax revaluation is market fair and customer-focused
