| Candidate Statement:
I worked in healthcare for over 30 years, retiring from Nash Healthcare Systems in 2007. I gained vast experience in budgeting, planning, staff management and working with North Carolinians from all walks of life. I have long had an interest in government. I want to contribute to the sound fiscal management of Nash County while still keeping a pro-business climate. I will support healthy families and quality education for all citizens of Nash County. Finally, I will work hard to bring more jobs to the citizens of Nash County. I am recently retired and have the time to devote to our fine county. I hope to get the opportunity to do just that.
