Candidate Biography (submitted by candidate):

Education:

Sprayberry High School, Cape Fear Community College, with a background in computers and business.

Career:

Grew up working in working my Dad's hardware store, Moved to North Carolina when I turned 18 and worked in the auto parts industry, worked for Pender County, and Gulfstream Steel. I have also always been self employed in my computer business and later owned a car lot. I now own a paintball field and store.

Candidate Statement:

I am tired of the same oh same oh. It's time for a change in Pender County. The people of Pender County are losing their jobs, their homes and their families, and they deserve better. I think someone needs to wake up. Its time for a different direction! We need to turn Pender County into a pro business county. We need to pursue companies that can bring jobs to our county and help put us back to work! It is time we take control of government spending instead of raising taxes.

I will be the first to admit I am not a politician. I have had experience managing businesses and staff people through the years. Also served on the Hampstead Volunteer Fire Department board of directors. Other than running for county commissioner I have had very little political experience. Maybe it's time for someone with no agenda and does not seek personal gain to be a commissioner. Maybe it's time for a change.
