| Candidate Statement:
It was a tremendous honor to serve the citizens of the 5th Senate District
in 2003-04. The experience was one that was very fulfilling but many needs
were left in Raleigh unfinished.
Affordable Healthcare, Mental Health, the economy, education and
transportation are the key needs of our State. As a former municipal
employee, former farmer, former public school teacher/administrator and
small business owner, I understand the issues important to the district and
our great State. These past experiences will prepare me to become an even
better legislator next session if elected again.
