| County Commissioner (District 2) |
|
Candidate Biography (submitted by candidate):
I am married with a beautiful wife, two wonderful daughters, and two grandchildren that I am very proud of. We are members of the First Church of the Nazarene in Garner where I sing in the choir and play bass guitar. I am a musician, how about that!
For eight years I had the honor of being a Garner City Councilman where I held strong my Conservative principles. During this time I learned much about government, taxes, budgets, and making the hard decisions that affected the citizens I represented.
For many years I served as a Volunteer Fireman & First Responder. This gave me a unique opportunity to learn about emergency services and the dedication these men & women have for their job. We can’t thank them enough for what they do!
I am also a retired Army Officer and a Vietnam Veteran. As a commander in the military I gained much experience in leadership and doing what it takes to get the job done. My reputation is that of a fighter that stands up in what he believes in and that will never changes.
