Candidate Biography (submitted by campaign):

Worked in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court for 34 and a half years and as the elected Clerk.  Served as the President of the Association of Clerks of Superior Court of NC, and on the NC Judicial Budget Committee.  I also, served on the Board of Directors for NC Child Support Council and various judicial forms committees.

My experience will enable me to help enact laws that work for us, rather than against us, as NC citizens.  I will work to eliminate wasteful spending in the State budget, thereby creating tax cuts for hardworking middle class families, including our State’s highest gas tax.  I want to be a voice for all the people in my district including the victims of the injustices in our society.
