Candidate Statement:
As a judge for almost ten years, everyday, I make important decisions for families and other members of our communities. I am a Family Court Judge and Certified Juvenile Court Judge and preside over criminal and civil matters, offering vast experience for appellate court work. Fairness and integrity are the essence of high standards in court, in my family and in my community involvement. Making sure that justice is truly accessible to all people is my commitment.
I accept the spending and fundraising limits required to receive funds from the Public Campaign Financing Fund. I am pleased to be endorsed by NC AFL-CIO, NC Association of Educators, NC Academy of Trial Lawyers, NC Association of Women Attorneys, and NC Police Benevolent Association.
Curtis and I have been married fifteen years and have twin third-graders, Matthew and Thomas. We are members of the First Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
