| Candidate Statement:
I have been deeply honored to serve the people and justice system of our great State as a judge for over 17 years. I have worked hard to apply the law fairly and treat everyone with respect. Beyond serving on North Carolina’s appellate courts, I am a Certified Military Trial Judge and was the Navy Reserve Judicial Unit’s Commanding Officer. I write and speak nationally about judicial independence, including as Chair of the ABA’s Judicial Division.
Because of my hard work and experience, I have been endorsed by, among others, the N.C. Association of Educators, N.C. Academy of Trial Lawyers, and Democratic and Republican former Chief Justices of the N.C. Supreme Court -- Burley Mitchell, James Exum, Henry Frye, and Rhoda Billings. I hope to serve you and our justice system for another eight years and ask for your support on May 6 and November 4. Please visit my website: www.judgewynn.com.
