Candidate Statement:

As a trial court judge, Kris Bailey has advanced judicial training and presided over thousands of cases from 2000-2004. Attorneys describe Judge Kris Bailey as 'tough but fair', one who is willing to listen and show respect to all in the courtroom.  Judges should show a measure of humility and refrain from personal whims in decisions. Judges must listen carefully and apply the law without favoritism.

Judges deal with real life situations, with real people. Kris Bailey has the experience, integrity, and common sense needed to serve Wake County well.

"Judges, law enforcement officers, court personnel, clerks, attorneys, teachers, friends and family have asked me to consider a return to the bench to serve again as a Wake County District Court Judge. While serving as a judge (2000-04) my courtroom handled thousands of criminal and civil cases with respect for the rule of law and for victims. Cases need to be decided on the law and the facts with respect for all who come before the court. Seasoned experience, fairness, integrity and common sense are hallmarks of an effective court. The crucial role of judge is not the best place for 'on the job training'."

Please consider casting your vote for experience, integrity, common sense.

Thank you-
Kris Bailey
