Candidate Biography (submitted by candidate):

I am a life long Wake County resident. I  attended Enloe High School. After Attending Enloe and founding out about being of service to others I went on to North Carolina Central University and obtained a B.S. In Criminal Justice with departmental honors. I went on to obtain my Juris Doctorate from Cambell University's Norman A. Wiggins School of Law.

Professionally I have had an oportunity to have a diverse body of work. I prosecuted with the Wake County District Attorney's Office(Third Year Practice Rule), represent the indigent in civil matters through my work with Legal Aid of North Carolina, and also be of service to the citizens in the private sector as a founding partner of McCullers & Whitaker PLLC.  

I bring a unique perspective to this election having had the opportunity to work and see the operation of the legal system from many different views. I am committed to being a fair, competent, and consistent District Court Judge. I believe every citizen deserves to have their matter move forward with the rule of law leading the way.
