| Candidate Statement:
I look forward to an opportunity to serve NC as the representative for House District 34. The only special interest I serve is the rights of the individuals of my district as provided by the NC Constitution.
North Carolina's ruling majority politicians have not been focused on important issues currently facing our state. Instead of focusing on jobs, economy or education, incumbents have ignored the people's wishes and made items such as tax payers funding of political campaigns their number one concern. While there are many topics that need our attention in the legislature, nothing is more important at this time than getting our citizens employed and making North Carolina an attractive place to do business. Particular emphasis should be placed on small business since they comprise more than 98% of all business in the state.
I am a strong believer in the ability of the private sector to drive the economy and in smaller and more efficient government. The citizens of NC can count on me to do what it takes to make North Carolina one of the best places to do business, work, and raise a family.
